Antenna cable routing

In an interesting find, it appears that our car here never originally came with a radio from the factory.  Some people call this a “radio delete” option, however the reality is that the base model came with no radio, and the add on was to select and purchase a radio.  So this car just never had a radio from the factory and was not “deleted”.  The main reason we know this now is because the hole in the body which the antenna cable would route was never cut.  You can still see the dimple in the sheetmetal where the factory would have routed it.

Last photo is an FYI of what a car with no radio would look like on the dash as it would just have a cover over the hole where the radio would have been installed.
