Disc Brake Details

The original brakes on the Lawman came with a very rare and hard to find detailing item that is seldom seen today.  In 1969 Ford issued a TSB (technical service bulletin) that outlines how cars with disc brakes had problems with squealing brake pads especially during light braking applications.  To solve this engineers developed a “noise arrestor clip” that is installed and can be seen in these photos that was then eventually incorporated into 1970 production.  Of course with Lawman there is both front and rear disc brakes.
