Door trim and finish details
Some detail items as the door trim is finished up here.
The door panels themselves are held tight against the actual door with special set of screws that were driven thru the carpet area. These were somewhat randomly done at the factory and as shown here. Once fully installed and seated they are very difficult to see, but essential as they help to keep the panels tight against the door.
Another detail item commonly overlooked is at the bottom of the doors there was a seal. The Lawman doors had this seal installed as well as the screw holes that were there show this. Adding this small detail keeps things as original as possible. Notice the yellow glue from the door weatherstrip which is very common on original cars. To do this part correct you want to have areas where you can see this yellow glue. Black adhesive glue would not be correct.
