Two round car headlights on concrete surface.

Lights on?

The headlights on the Lawman are extremely well preserved because they essentially were never used and because of the low mileage of the car.  The wiring harness in the engine compartment was originally taken out when the car was modified, so the lights could never have been turned on.

The lights themselves are Tungsol lights dated August 1969 and with no FoMoCo etching in the center of the bulb.  This is not uncommon with some cars especially from the Dearborn production facility as not all headlight bulbs had the FoMoCo etchings.  Special care was taken to preserve the original ink stampings on the back of the bulbs to keep them in tact.
