The Dyno Run Video

Nothing better than hearing and seeing this engine running on the dyno.  Its hard to understand just how loud and powerful this motor is thru the video…but it was more than impressive.  Not every day we get to see a blown Boss429 engine setup like this.    

We wanted to make sure that with this engine we chose someone who really had the right setup and experience so we can tweak and adjust as needed.  After all the efforts to rebuild it, this was a big deal.  So Steve Brule (co-host of Motor Trends Engine Masters show) at Westech in Mira Loma was the best choice for the job and well worth the drive out to California.  

With us on this trip was Brian Duffee (engine builder extraordinaire) and Jim Beebe (Camera Guy).  

And after all was said and done we were right at about 1000 HP at about 7000 RPM.   Torque was at about 800 ft lbs.  Plenty of power to get to the grocery store in a hurry.
