Original C9ZX Shocks

As with so many pieces on this car we had the original pieces but in the case of the shocks they were so badly pitted they could not be restored.  And as with most front shocks the top rubber bushings were destroyed from having the suspension hang down when on a lift and not supported properly.  Both front and rear shocks were dated April 1969 which is 5 months prior to the build date.  Although it doesnt fit into to the 2 to 3 month window we normally like to see its not uncommon that some parts could be 6 to 9 months prior to the build date.  You can still see orange dab on the one front shock.  C9ZX shocks are specific to Boss429 and extremely difficult to find replacements.
