Fender to Cowl Bumpers

A rarely seen detailing item all 1969 and 1970 Mustangs had a rubber bumper that was placed between the fenders and the cowl.  Part number was a C9ZZ-16578-A.  Usually these are long gone when a car is taken apart these were still on the Lawman in their original condition.  Notice the distinct ribbing of the bumpers common with alot of rubber parts during this time.  Once installed they can be seen in the seem between the fender and cowl as shown in the photos below when you know what you are looking for.  Additional photo below shows how they look when the cowl is removed on an unrestored car.
