Steering Box Restored

Original correctly restored steering box with an assembly date of September 3, 1969….perfectly matched for the build date of the car.  

Note the adjustment screw is cut off at the top as this was on Boss 429 cars for extra clearance issues with the exhaust.  The blue paint is also not uncommon on original steering boxes and was an identification mark used in production.
