Hooked

We spent special care preserving the original hooks that were added to the Lawman when it was transported overseas.  These hooks on the front and back of the car were added to help tie down the car when it was being transported by aircraft or ship during its tour.  Hooks were stripped and replated to match the original finish.  An interesting addition was on the front hooks these were held in place with a “special” spacer…..which was a valve stem retainer….probably something they had laying around the shop when adding these to the car.
